Dermaplaning is a fantastic treatment to exfoliate and rejuvenate your skin. The procedure must be performed by a certified aesthetician and is conducted by our certified aesthetician, Ashely Negron, at Qvita Health and Wellness. It is good for all skin types. During the treatment your skin is cleansed and prepped with a toner, then your skin is pulled taut while a sterile surgical blade is very gently scraped across the surface. This blade removes dead skin, and vellus hair (peach fuzz) on the face. This leaves the skin ultra smooth and looking fresh. Our clients love to have this done before an event that they need to look “red carpet ready” for. The bonus is that there is NO downtime!
This treatment is great for those who want the advantages commonly seen with physical exfoliation (like microdermabrasion) but have skin that is too sensitive for the suction associated with traditional microdermabrasion.
